this is depressing. can Grenada not get a break? Ivan destroyed so many lives and anything resembling order, and now they have to deal with Emily?? not to mention haiti, which had by far the most deaths in the caribbean last hurricane season and got struck again by Dennis. they simply don't have enough money and resources to cope with that. from what i've heard we didn't get any deaths from dennis btw. just some flooding and such. i remember i was talking to dad just after dennis and saying wasn't it too early for all these hurricanes. he said it was the first time in history that 4 hurricanes were named before July was finished! and now there are 5! and we're half way through July! aye yi yi. i remember thinking last hurricane season was the worst i've seen in my life. i hope this one doesn't turn out to be worse.
